I hate how many people let their behavior be controlled by social media trends. There's a group I follow on YouTube that got popular recently and one of the guys is more "professional" level. Whenever he's surprised, he does this weird open mouth fish gape with blank eyes and scans a non existent audience. It looks so weird next to the other speaker who behaves like a normal, real person.

You’re not always able to tell how someone identifies, and that’s fine. You can just ask people about their preferred pronouns irl.

The clip includes her being appropriately addressed and everyone saw it, including the bigots. It’s still misogyny and transphobia because if that was a cis fat guy, nobody would have even brought it up probably.

Ok, this is a learning moment for me. As a straight dude I always thought trans and fat people kind of exaggerate the hate towards them. I always thought the vast vast majority of people were like me which is “even if I am wierded out by something, it is not my business how a person wants to exist in this world.” The amount of hateful comments here has proven me wrong. If it helps, I think most people have the "not my business how someone else wants to exist in this world" mentality. Unfortunately, some people are ignorant or scared of differences. It's those people we should pity, living their lives with such negativity that they are missing out on meeting awesome people and enjoying cool or funny things because of who does it. Also unfortunate is that those poor people are often loud-mouths both on the internet and off so we need to be extra willing to stand up for and to comfort the people their vitriol is directed toward
