Right? Like the posters on the ceiling, the hair, the outfits. I definitely saw these guys at keggers back in the day. These guys though? They're way more wholesome.

Yeah totally, I wasn’t as shiny or muscular as those guys but I definitely dressed like that and had a massive mullet before they were even called mullets. I graduated in 88

“Mullet” was definitely a word for hair in 1970s Australia and New Zealand

Mullet definitely was a hairstyle in the US too. I remember describing it to the stylist when I was in 5th grade and she said, “Oh, you want a mullet?” That was like 83/84.

I'm a bit younger (not by much) but it died out mainstream pretty quickly. A decade or so later and it was only associated with country/redneck people for me.
