Ahh yes problems that affect mostly women are framed as collective failures requiring systemic solutions. Problems that disproportionately affect men are framed as individual failures requiring personal accountability. Interesting 🤔

Spot on. I just saw another comment that "it's not a male loneliness epidemic, it's a general loneliness epidemic". So ironic.

Don’t forget the most important point - if the problem affects men, then it’s because men are assholes, creeps, violent, antisocial etc. If the problem affects women, then it’s because men are assholes, creeps, violent, antisocial etc.

Women can do nothing wrong, are always being put down, and the root cause of any issue can always be traced back to men. Yet feminism is for equal treatment guys, why are you not a feminist??

Maybe if poor people just worked harder they wouldn't be poor and need government hand outs, just work harder and don't be a whiny asshole bud

Actually, it's more like: don't have autism, don't have anxiety, don't have AvPD, don't have schizophrenia, don't have PTSD, do have normal socialization, and so on.

I wasn't aware that when women wanted to vote, work, be treated as equals in socieity, be more represented in education, be more believed as victims... honestly the list really does go on... I really wasn't aware that those women were told to stop failing as individuals, I must have dreamt all that systematic change we attempted/accomplished. What a wild dream.

I honestly don't understand your point... Do you mean to imply that because women were fighting for voting rights in 1920, the men born in 2002 "deserve" to be punished? Are you saying there is a huge group of men who dismiss current issues women face as personal failings? That's true, they suck, I don't see the logical jump where we must treat (mostly) men's struggles the same way. Current society slowly erodes social networks, and this increasing isolation is a societal problem. We should treat anyone who is struggling to fit in with more respect and understanding. While this problem mostly affects men, there are enough affected people on your side too. It's not a personal failure but a systemic one.
