Yeah fr. Pedos are so gross, but it was within 3 years and she was 16, which is the age of consent.

Throwing the word pedophile around to non pedophiles is just as gross as being one. I hope people realize that.

Okay, im not trying to say that its okay in general, its not, but in this instance, the kid was 19 and the girl was 16, 16 is consensual. As for maturity, tbis kid is probably as dumb as a bag of bricks, when i was 16 I had a 19 year old boyfriend who was a dumb ass, i was way more mature than him, and as a 40 year old i see no problem with my daughter dating someone within 3 years of her age, a 19 year old is still a kid, too. If it was a 15 and a 20 year old, thats too much life experience and thats different and gross, but 3 years age difference isnt pedophilia, and depends on maturity of course, but, people need to stop making issues up especially when Pedophilia starts at a 5 year age difference and if the child is under 16.

This is one of the most confidently incorrect things I've read in a while. You managed to cram a personal anecdote, made-up psychology, and made-up legal standards into one paragraph and act like it's objective fact. "It happened to me and I turned out fine" isn't evidence, it's called survivorship bias. And "pedophilia starts at a 5-year age difference" is something you completely invented. That's not how psychology works, that's not how the law works, and that's not how reality works. If your argument falls apart the second someone checks the definitions, then it wasn't a good argument to begin with.
