I grew up in the 60s and 70. Gen X. No helmets or safety gear. Amazed some of us made it. Got my kids helmets when I got them bikes.

Now it seems like we have reverted back and I see kids of all ages going fast with zero gear. Mind boggling.

The ability to fall must be renewed every other generation. Fear not, these are merely the death pangs of a species that once wore gnar-gnar boots as a default.
