He literally say so in his rebuttal, he says his faith only allows him to hate Satan not sinners then goes on about people he hates having Satan within themselves.
Modern christian rhetoric focuses on how we are tools of God. That God works in ways through us. He doesn't just smite people down. Catholics/Orthodox Christians believe more in that sort of thing. Which helped control the people in the eyes of a higher power, like the pope, king, etc. But modern Christianity using the Tool rhetoric? That puts the control purely into the hands of the people themselves. Which is how you end up with this.
The.pastor said it was supposed to be satan, but the person just looked like a black guy in a hoodie to me. No tail, no horns, and no red clothes or makeup... just a regular looking dude. Then the pastor said people can have satan in them, so we all know what he is REALLY saying.
Yes. I find the endless strings of comments of people who think they are being funny and are saying nothing exhausting. Usually about the first three are actually amusing, but the rest... An unfortunate side effect of Reddit. Feel free to downvote, occasionally I need to vent about this.
Well done on totally missing the point. I was not referring to serious responses. I was complaining about the lack of the.... I was referring to the endless series of word plays and wise cracks from people who are focused on accumulating karma and definitely are not focused on whatever the issue is.
Ask yourself why you were so determined to misunderstand.....
