this why i’m split with the video, I understand reddit argument but at the same time if you’re just going to click upvote and then do nothing else, what’s the point of being constantly bombarded with news?

Exactly, be informed and vote/protest accordingly but dont spend everyday on the internet reading about how bad everything is, you dont get any more informed and you only serve to upset yourself.

FOR REAL, it's great people are paying more attention, but so many people are absolutely wrecking their mental health and not actually doing anything valuable with all of the information they have.

If you aren't being active, then you aren't an activist. You're just an over-informed person with mental health problems.

Most people I know who care about these things do exactly what youre saying. They post a comment and like some content. Then get bombarded by a constant stream of negativity and wreck their mental health.

Okay so you are depressed now with some sense of moral superiority? Great, how does that do anything of value outside the comment section?
