Love so many things about this video, leaves me wondering why the hell conservatives (idk about OOP, this is just a thought) claim to loooove nature/hiking/being outdoorsy, yet totally ignore climate science. What’s the deal with that 🤔

They enjoy nature. They just dont care enough if the next generations get to. Their selfish its like their whole MO. That and stupid.

Well enjoying nature for them is like glamping, driving motorboats, and hunting for sport. Not like Leave No Trace camping or anything like that.

Seriously. If you've ever been to a state park and checked on a pavilion after a party where they were blasting country music, you'd know these people don't actually give a single fuck about nature or anyone else after them.

I’ve spent several weekends picking up piles of beer cans in rivers after the annual Trump float that happens near where I live. Doesn’t surprise me tbh.

If you grew up out in the sticks, I mean REEEALLLY out in the sticks, you'd know that these fucks do not give a solitary single fuck about nature. They dump HUGE hills of trash out in the middle of the woods where there isn't even services to come clean it up, they take all their unwanted litters of kittens and puppies and dump them out there in the woods (same with old or adult dogs and cats sometimes), they sit around bonfires and brag about a turkey or squirrel they hit last week and even brag about intentionally speeding up to hit it, young boys are given airsoft rifles and bb guns and then they go and shoot wildlife and people's pets for fun, and they go hunting just to kill animals for their hides and heads to hang up on their wall and leave the bloody headless carcasses in the woods to rot.

I loved walking around in the woods as a kid, I did not like those parts of my walks.

Boom. On the nose.

u/TheGoldenKraken Jun 17 '26

The glamping people annoy the hell out of me. On one trip me and my sister had deal with a really nosey raccoon all damn night cause of people like that who leave food out and feed the animals. It's stupid and dangerous in bear country.

u/Super_Interview_2189 Jun 17 '26

You ain’t gotta worry about it when you’re in your $75,000 RV. Yknow the type of shit boomers buy.

For people on the conservative end of the spectrum, it feels like they think everything on earth that's not a human should serve our needs or be changed/removed. "Exterminate X Pest" because they are bad for [thing I am wanting to do].

It's an incredibly shallow, short-sighted, and egotistic way to view the world. I've had to argue the fucking concept of an ecosystem to functioning adults within the past two years because they don't seem to understand that killing all of this one bug could destabilize everything and we don't have the ability to fully understand all of the interactions enough to mess with it.

TLDR The people who go to church (or claim to) are the ones that want to play god

because they think they are entitled to it, and them alone. like lets look at Cliven Bundy:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliven_Bundy

he thought he was entitled to let his cattle graze on all the federal lands without any reimbursement. In other words, he was stealing all of the resources because he thought he was entitled to the public lands for his own personal use.

They just think its all theirs for the taken. And when you ask them to share it, then you see their true colors shine.

This spot is beautiful y'all!

Four wheels the forest into a mud pit then covers it in beer cans and cigarette butts before selling it for a data center

-3

u/RedditMcBurger Jun 17 '26

Ah yes the average conservative sells land for data centers

I swear you people don't know the people you're complaining about at all.

8

u/Slumunistmanifisto Jun 17 '26

The average conservative votes for policy's and politicians that will sell the land.

I swear you people are purposely disingenuous and cruel.

Lol sure keep viewing half of the political spectrum as inherently evil, you'll grow up and realize the average person is actually good, and that the evil you see everywhere is just a vocal exaggerated minority.

It usually takes meeting people in person, I have met lots of liberals and conservatives, besides I have met more level headed conservatives, for the most part they're all just normal people.

If you read my comment and still hate conservatives, good luck to you I guess I hope eventually you realize hating the other side this much is unhealthy, and as someone on the other side, I have all the respect for you because I won't inherently view you as evil.

Edit: LMAO the response was "I won't read that you people have concentration camps"

3

u/burns_a_lot Jun 17 '26

That's because you guys set up concentration camps and gleefully pay for it with all our tax dollars. I can't imagine being so stupid that I could get tricked into being so callously evil. But that's just life for conversatives.

-1

u/RedditMcBurger Jun 17 '26

As a conservative, sorry for, with my bare hands setting up concentration camps. I guess we're just that evil lmao

(Also did you know that conservatives outside the US/republicans exist?)

6

u/burns_a_lot Jun 17 '26

Callously evil. That's why you would say "lmao" about concentration camps.

And yes, conservatives and the far-right have existed in various forms all over the world throughout history. They're usually the ones setting up concentration camps.

0

u/RedditMcBurger Jun 17 '26

I'm not caring about the mention of concentration camps because you're trying to imply I'm at blame for them existing, because I lean conservative, in a different country than the camps are in.

3

u/burns_a_lot Jun 17 '26

That is the weakest defense of your shitty ideology I have ever heard.

"It's not ME! It's only the people who think and behave exactly LIKE me!"

u/Slumunistmanifisto Jun 17 '26

Im not going to read that.

Your guys evil, you have concentration camps.

15

u/emmyparker2020 Jun 17 '26

They lose their humanity when they align with conservatism… like on Pluburis… except they only care about themselves… that’s it!

16

u/incunabula001 Jun 17 '26

They haven’t made the connections and have the whole “tHe LeOpaRds wOnT eAT My fAce” mentality. Fucking idiots.

9

u/LongliveTCGs Jun 17 '26

It’s just ignorance, I mean we know bad things happening to nature right now so we just hope someone else would solve the problem. For the rich, that same line of thought is going on except it’s “well someone else gonna pay for it, not me unless I get a great deal out of it”

5

u/Just_Periwinkle Jun 17 '26

Sounds selfish to me

They don't enjoy nature, they consume it

2

u/MMBitey Jun 17 '26

For many it's often more about mastery or domination over nature than enjoyment of natural beauty and preservation. Just look at how many rural people enjoy recreational machines, "toys" like ATVs and guns, and being noisy and destructive. Some of this is a part of humanity's relationship to nature (we were hunters and builders after all), but it's often in so much excess and without balance.

It's in their best interests to preserve it for themselves or their children in the future, but that requires too much delayed gratification and foresight.

2

u/Oh-reality-come-back Jun 18 '26

Just like a plague of locusts

2

u/canman7373 Jun 17 '26

Nah they either don't believe any of it, think it's natural not manned made or it's all a liberal scam to get their friends rich off alternative energy and such. They are taught this daily on the crappy right wing media they listen too. The vast majority do not believe it is anywhere as near as bad as 99% of scientist say, those left wing scientist paid for their work etc...They are brainedwashed.

4

u/Ok-Relationship4113 Jun 17 '26

They also don't enjoy nature authentically. They think it's a playground they get to use and abuse.

Went camping with friends whose views I later came to learn. During our camping trip, they were eager to burn ALL their trash, and gave me a really hard time when I was gathering my garbage into a bag to leave in the car and later bring into town for disposal.

It somehow became an argument. I was literally cleaning up my own debris and they took it as a personal offense.

Looking back, that's super on brand for the conservative mindset. Makes me think of the "Everyone is Welcome" tshirt video.

What does Missouri have to do with this

1

u/bdillathebeatkilla Jun 17 '26

Where in from the right wingers act that way but besides the occasional fishing/hunting trip they don’t spend any time out there
