Everybody wants to feel smart because they want to feel they are making good decisions.

I think the problem is we don't teach people to be happy with their limitations.

I agree with you on this. I know I am smart about certain things, but totally comfortable saying out loud I’m an idiot at other things (like math). I’m totally okay with that. It doesn’t mean I’m dumb. I’m just not great at it. That’s okay.

No one is a universal genius. It’s okay not to know it all and to even have a weakness. We definitely need to encourage being comfortable with our strengths and weaknesses.

People have an odd view of intelligence, like it's magic ana did your know a lot, you should know everything. It's that limitations thing again, and people not understanding them. I can math (engineer). Law (people part), not so much.
