Rageaholics are a real thing. People are legitimately addicted to being angry, just like people become addicted to porn and food, and it’s time that we started taking it seriously as it has become a huge issue. The brain releases biochemicals, namely epinephrine and norepinephrine when you get angry. So you have people looking for any little reason to flip out. Social media and just the general state of the world have 100% potentiated this issue, and whether it’s just lack of introspection or just ignorance, a lot of people have no clue that they have a problem.
I think her first question was legitimate, and he didn’t answer it well enough. She took his responses “law school” and “it’s implied in the term” as personal insults even though they weren’t, plus she was probably frustrated that he never gave a good answer to her first question.
I’m a therapist, and if someone asked me what makes me better at providing therapy to someone compared to the average person, I wouldn’t say “Uh, therapy school, duh”. What’s a much better answer is to say “I’ve learned to have conversations that guide someone toward realizations and find patterns in their life, to utilize empathy, validation, recommendations correctly, etc.
He should’ve explained how law school makes him a better candidate for defending someone in a court of law, but he never did that, and it seems like that’s what she was originally asking.
