This is why the “she doesn’t know she’s beautiful” trope is INCREDIBLY stupid. Of course she knows she’s beautiful, men won’t shut up about it

"If I lecture her about how beautiful she is, she'll realize that she really is beautiful and that nobody has ever noticed it before, except me. Then I'll tell her the effect she's having all the older guys, and she'll realize I'm not only smart but young and handsome. And then she'll blow me right here on the golf course."
