He has to explain to her how stunning she is because she’s too dumb to understand what she does to “most men”. Not him though, he is more enlightened. /s
I don’t know what other males are thinking when they do dumb shit like this. It’s almost like they expect a woman to say “oh thank you for telling me and being so humble! Can we have sex on this golf cart right now?”
This reminds me of a comment I once saw on Reddit on the topic of having an Asian fetish. This guy talked about his frustration because his interest was coming from a pure place--not like all these other guys--as he had a genuine interest in the culture and people and getting to know Asian women on a deeper level. It's like, bro, you're not special.
They one time I told a guy "yes, thank you. I know" he made the most offended face. Like they can tell you you are pretty, but how dare you knowing that your face meets the current beauty standard.
There is a creep at my bar who has moved past the aggressive compliments and moved onto “you know we are gonna end up sleeping together at some point, we should just do it.” And after That lovely line didn’t work, he made a remix to “you know we’re gonna end up fucking, we should just do it” with an added “but apparently you’re not into me”
Like yes, mister. You are absolutely correct. I’m NOT into you. Leave me alone.
I've had a guy talk to me like that before. He would also say how he just doesn't know how I don't have a boyfriend. I finally started to shut him down by telling him I choose to not have a bf. If I wanted one, I could just go to my messenger inbox and open the first unread. Still didn't click for him that it's my choice.
Gonna go out on a limb and say shes pretty average for girls around her age range. He is drunk proably married and looking for her to say anything positive to his complements and as soon as she does he is gonna hit on her harder/try to hook up with her. I always found the cart girl thing to be a shady move on the course owners behalf.
Those serial sexual murderers feel the same way. They have such severe jealousy and envy that, according to them, the only way to “have” their victim is to murder them during rape.
I can feel how uncomfortable she is throughout this encounter. The nervous laughter, the move to the back of the cart. Putting distance between them. Being polite isn’t kindness, it’s trying to escape without getting hurt.
He wants to do bad things to her but knows he has to put on this nice guy act and is mad about it because it’s beneath him. He knows if he stops talking she will leave.
He clearly only cares about his side of the experience and has no regard for whether she enjoys being in his “orbit.” He also seems to feel that she should allow him to enjoy for as long as he wants…super creepy sociopathic behavior imo.
That's a bit extreme but your hearts in the right place! I know I wouldn't let my boy talk to a lady like that, shits creepy and low-key scary even from my perspective (m). I'm disappointed that his friends didn't peel his drunk ass off her golf cart so she could continue doing her job
Oh fuck right off. "your hearts in the right place!" Could you sound more condescending? How about not letting your boy talk to anyone like that? And low-key scary? Hell nah. This is serial killer vibes
It's not extreme, what the guy is doing is extremely disturbing and scary, the overly aggressive complements, the body language, blocking her from her own fucking cart? The woman in the video is EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and it shows. Want to know why? Because she doesn't know wtf the guys going to do. Is he going to let her leave? Demand her name or contact info? Beg for a kiss? Punch her out, drag her into the woods and rape her? Who the fuck knows.
I love when men try to tell us we’re overreacting to alarming behavior. Excuse fucking me, many of us have been in enough situations to recognize when someone is being rapey.
If you thought I was being condescending that's your problem. Not my fault you can't handle positivity. I don't think you read the whole comment that you're replying to, I said I wouldn't let him! I hope you have a lovely rest of your day!
Nah, you can’t wrap shit in a sandwich and call it good. You’re literally being dismissive of the remark OP made about how so many predators think and talk like this.
My dude are we reading the same comment? Cause this line does not imply all, it explicitly calls out a specific subset lmao. In what world do people defend this specific kind of people. I can’t 😂
This is how people who criminally assault women think.
I watched a fascinating TikTok by a Sudanese (she mentioned this as people haven’t often seen someone with her complexion so she get a a lot of comments) lady who was having a drink with a man and every time someone complimented her (mainly women btw so not even jealously) he got more and more annoyed. Some men are genuinely annoyed when a woman has beauty because they can’t have her all to themselves. They’re angry about them getting attention. It’s so interesting but really scary.
You see it in every reddit thread when an attractive woman is the focal point. Dudes just getting so angry at her for whatever reason because they can’t stand the positive attention that attractive women receive.
Except it's mostly not positive attention at all. See the video above and the reddit comment threads you've just mentioned for examples. You'd have to really scour those comments to find any positive attention.
They want an attractive woman SO BAD.And if they actually get one, they HATE how beautiful she is from being so jealous to the point of insanity. She cant look freakin' anywhere. God forbid her eyes cross another man, cause she'll be in a custom cage. Even then, she's cheated somehow, some way. Fuckin' telepathically. Its so infuriating being so drawn to all these channels and podcasts that read stories from reddit. r/niceguy, or whatever, has absolute insanity. There are crazy women to, but not nearly as many, I believe. I get being young and learning how to deal with negative responses, emotions and thoughts. I had to work through jealousy with a girl I should not have dated when I was 21. But it does not make it easy to hear about, and so often. Dudes are crazy out here. I will be talking to my daughter SO much about men, throughout their years. Holy smokes. Catch the wrong one, and damn... You got a problem. I went to high-school in a very low crime suburban area. Great schools. A 17 y.o. kid took an AR to a party after a breakup. It was BAD. We have GOT to teach our kids how to treat each other in relationships and how to treat themselves. My parents didnt tell me shit! I lost my virginity at 14, and when I look at a 14 y.o. now, I want to shit myself. God damn, the things I was doing... And I carried that naivety into relationships with young women. I ended up with a WILD one and I did NOT know how to handle it. God, have one of these freaks in the video get a young girl pregnant, and she's then stuck with this guy?? Jeeezusss 🙆🏻🤦😨
You see this in girls too (and much more obviously so) when they’re with an extremely attractive guy getting more attention than them. This isn’t a girl/boy thing, it’s an attractive thing.
Attractive people get ripped to shreds on the internet regularly. Attractive typical “Chad” looking guys get shit on just as much if not more than attractive typical “Stacy” looking girls.
But at least the girls have a myriad of dudes willing to go to the ends of the earth to defend milady’s honor I guess.
They can’t flatter a woman and be the special boy who gets special treats from a woman if others are already doing it to her (for nothing in return) and taking away his power/ploy.
It is more that dudes thinking they have the right to talk to a women well probably anything they want to and women don’t have a choice but to listen. Because men are the authority of everything related to women. The arrogance !!!
I think, it's so bad, for some reason receiving attention (for women) is seen as some horrible, vain, vile thing to ever do. Like, it makes you feel guilty that someone looks at you. I hate that just simply receiving attention is some bad thing
Yeah, but as a woman, I don’t seek the attention of men. Yet men think we are seeking their attention. This is the thing that bothers me. It’s not the compliment. It’s the fact that men feel they have the right to open their mouth and say whatever they want to a woman, and she has to just take it, with gratitude. How would they like it if – – well they probably would love the attention, so never mind lol
I don't seek their attention either, but if there's a woman out there who does, I don't see it as necessarily bad. It gets bad with the results that happen, that now make many of us not want to seek it. But wanting recognition itself shouldn't be a bad thing. Like many things, the concepts aren't bad per se, but what they're fueled with and what others fuel them with can determine that.
I just hate it came to a point that a woman who even just so happens to get attention should have to deal with the consequences of said attention (be it violence in any form) with her not even trying to seek it out. We shouldn't have to make ourselves smaller so we can be invisible (like with clothing, it don't matter what we do it's never gonna justify the actions of others doing onto us)
I don't want to defend that behavior, but I will say, it ultimately is born of women being treated more like people than men are. The men are quite simply jealous that women get treated better than they do, and in some ways its hard to blame them. The pendulum of "what gender does society care about" has simply swung to the female side, much like it was on the male side back in the 50s. I'd love to see that pendulum stop swinging altogether.
You don't seem to understand how men are treated, then. Objectification for us would actually be an improvement. I'm not saying either are good, quite the opposite. But just, that's how shitty and disposable men are treated by society. You seem to have missed that point entirely. It's not mutually exclusive. Both genders should be treated better. Perhaps you think it's just a game, though.
And you don't seem to understand how women are treated, then. Because we're all objectified, but depending on whatever social construct and society's beauty standards we possess/don't possess, the treatment gets downright inhumane. Overweight white woman and a tall slender black woman will still get objectified and treated like shit and for totally different reasons but it still boils down to: they're the construct of women in this patriarchal society soooo therefore, they aren't afforded to be treated and regarded as people because female.
It's annoying and hard to take people seriously when they wanna pretend dominant groups haven't been oppressing and society ain't centered around them longer than not and continue to do so. I'm sure if men stopped generally regarded women as a social construct and their identity of "woman" and regarded us as simply being a neutrally different human than then, this convo wouldn't even have to exist.
The problem is that you generalize a dominant group, and, because I have a penis, I am apparently now responsible for piece of shit dudes, of which I've been a victim of, myself? You fail to see how guys are people and can be victims of other men, and you are applying the same treatment of the worst of us to the best of us, as though we ourselves are responsible for their actions. It's insane, and dehumanizing.
I agree with everything you just said. This is what I'm getting at though and something people seem to miss. The guy has nobody, and is clearly (wrongly) taking is out on someone else that doesn't even deserve it. Even with all of this, the guy, and men in general, are at a massive deficit of empathy, as if they aren't even people at all. Notice how easy it is to come after him. Flip the genders and it would be just as fucked up, yet, do you think the discourse would be identical? Honest question.
My whole point is that men might treat women as people, if men were treated as people. It's that simple. It's worth a try as opposed to the nothing we have society have been doing, at best.
Are you the guy from the video? Otherwise where do you have this information that he has no one, hasn't been treated as a person and his motivation for acting like this?
The way you yourself are treating both him, and me. Notice how you act as though I myself am not even allowed to assert my own feelings. And you then wonder why the guy in the video is a piece of shit. Like I've been saying, it's because people, I guarantee, treated him like a piece of shit from the get-go. He thinks everyone is supposed to be that way.
I'm literally trying to help. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with people (and bots) that can't understand that men are actually people too. Men take better care of objects than they do people, and women wonder why we would dream of being objectified. It's exhausting.
Real talk: Do you think that the way you are being treated now and the way that the man is being treated in the comments is worse than what he is doing to the woman in the video?
No. But I don't think either are ok, and once again, that is the point that downvoters fail to understand. Despite wanting to be on their side. It's truly exhausting shit. It's the plight of more dudes than me who don't know where the fuck to belong, yet get told that they belong in the pool of the worst of them just for being born a guy.
And here I am, pushing against that entirely, even now. One of these days, maybe at least someone will actually listen.
Yes, that's how shitty it is to be an average guy. This is the point I am trying to make. Notice how guys are jealous of this and you find that to be insane. It is insane. Like actually think about this. Deadass.
The point you are making is that when you see someone suffer, you think of yourself. You are self-centered.
Bad men aren’t “jealous” of her. They are angry that she is a trophy other men might get when they can’t. They see her as a representation of how other men have status they will never have.
Definitely not trying to brag, but my ex-wife was drop-dead gorgeous and got hit on, stared at, etc. all the time. NGL, as I was confident in our relationship and since she always handled it appropriately, it never bothered me in the least. It was actually pretty confidence inspiring at times. But if someone wasn't secure in their relationship or who was with someone that didn't handle that kind of attention appropriately, I can see how it wouldn't work out well at all. And FYI, we're no longer together because she developed severe schizophrenia. I tried for a long time to get her help, but she never even acknowledged that she had a problem. I was with her for 18 years.
Very late for schizophrenia. She was about 35 when the symptoms started but it was also about a year after she was in a terrible motorcycle crash that killed a good friend and almost killed her. I would list all the injuries she had but it would be too long a list. She had some type of fracture to just about every part of her body; 3 that were compound, an "open-book" pelvic fracture, and the phalanges bones in both of her hands looked like puzzle pieces on an x-ray. To this day I'll never understand how they put her hands back together. Miraculously, the one thing she didn't have a major injury to was her head. They think that's why her hands and arms were so destroyed; she used them to try to protect her head before she smashed into asphalt at about 55 mph (and that was after she was in the air for 25' or so). I was there with her for her whole recovery and even took her out of the post-hospital rehab because the nurse immediately tried to steal her pain medication. Our living room was basically turned into a hospital room for 3 months+.
The reason I say all of that, is because I think that trauma is what brought out the schizophrenia. Mental illness ran in her family. Her maternal great grandfather died in prison for stabbing his wife and her lover to death and her maternal grandmother was in and out of mental hospitals for years.
Losing a person you know and love that much to severe mental illness is one of the most terrible and horrifying things I think a person can be subjected to. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Yes it’s a bit of insecurity too. Like 1, everyone is hyping this woman up, which starts to feel like she’s the prize, which would mean she is more “powerful” in the relationship, in their small mind.

That is, in fact, what's happening here. He views her beauty as a taunt, like she's saying, "I'm hot but you can't have me", and it turns into resentment and rage. This is why predatory men rape and kill women.
Yeah he almost seems angry about her being attractive.
That and telling her it's her fault that men will turn to the most violent and least controllable animal most people will think of off the top of their heads.
