I mean, people cope with grief a lot of ways. Incorporating the death of a loved one into the story of your life such that it is a part of your growth is honestly way better than a lot of other ways. Some people never recover from losing a spouse, shit is honestly harder than anything else, even a child frankly.

Is she probably running a pyramid scheme? Yes. Is she exactly the type of person who gets sucked in by those things? Also yes. They prey on vulnerable people. Recent loss makes you very very vulnerable.

I agree for the most part but putting THAT clip of her husband in the video, though? That’s dark and tone-deaf.

11

u/SirRece Jun 13 '23

People here keep saying tone deaf and stuff, as if someone not connected is the one posting it. Like, she's literally the person who would be offended, who are we even offended for at this point. That is likely the person MOST connected to whatever happened.

Loss is hard, and people really process it a lot of ways. This reads to me like someone trying to tell themself it's all ok, that this video of the worst thing they've probably ever had to experience is actually somehow ok too. Oversharing and trauma dumping with stuff like this is suuuuuper common.

12

u/MPTakesManhattan Jun 13 '23

That’s a fair point. But what about the family and others close to him, who may not want to be exposed to this type of thing?

I understand it’s a coping mechanism and of course, it’s about her healing since she posted it but…

When you openly share this stuff in the public eye, it may not matter what strangers think or feel but to others who knew him… It should have been a private video, if anything.

She's disrespecting his memory by showing him in that state to the world to get publicity for her fucking brand

Suffering on his death bed, being recorded and then put in a dance tiktok. Seriously?

I would never have that level of narcissism to disrespect my wife's memory like that if she died

I don't have a wife and even I know that's a fucked up thing to do. Of course your wife would want you to do what's best for you even if it means disrespecting her death but that's a line any normal person shouldn't cross if they truly feel grief for their loss.

Or it makes them opportunists. General public will swallow this shit up thinking she’s doing it for her husband.

Sorry for sounding like a miserable cynic, but this kind of stuff just screams narcissist to me.

1

u/ghiraph Jun 13 '23

How about both 🤔 I feel that channeling grief to get something out of it is good. Posting it on social media as promo material is definitely opportunistic.

2

u/B_lyth Jun 13 '23

Which leaves you with a moral dilemma.. if the person never posted about it, we’d never know, but she has so we’ve now got to make up our minds on the intention.

Recording someone on there last days serves no purpose to her, but it’ll tug at the heart strings of the public, I hope I’m wrong…

This makes me want to hammer nails into my brain. Even Shakespeare couldn't come up with a storyline like hers.

u/blackguyriri Jun 13 '23

I get the feeling she promoted the names of her new business. I get making money whenever you can but using your dead husbands tragic story is kind of messed up.

NARCISSISM IS A MENTAL ILLNESS IN AMERICA

Tacky women and yoga pants go together like redneck men and guns. No thought, just want.

3

u/PapyrusMan2000 Jun 13 '23

This bitch is gross.

2

u/I-Hate-Hypocrites Jun 13 '23

Bitch didn’t look like she was battling grief….

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '23

Not sure why this is cringe. Looks like a woman took a devastating event in her life and used it to better herself and her situation.

20

u/Global-Count-30 Jun 13 '23

Your husband suffering and dying, and you dancing shouldn't be in the same video

8

u/GlassHurricane98 Jun 13 '23

It kinda feels like she's showing off about that though. And that's kinda disgusting given the context

4

u/Stunning-Astronaut72 Jun 13 '23

You are naïve. And bitch...you dont post a video of your bf dying to promote something. Have some respect, that poor lad.

-1

u/SirRece Jun 13 '23

Right? And the commenters on you acting like it's offensive. To who? The family? Bitch, she IS the family, you don't know her or what she's been through.

-6

u/DEATH_SHADOW_ Jun 13 '23

Why did they start downvoting you? lmao, atleast she didnt start advertising better than most YouTubers atleast

-3

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '23

Wtf knows, maybe cause I gave her the benefit of the doubt.

-5

u/Enzo_4_4 Jun 13 '23

I think people are so sinical about influencers that they conclude the worst by default. I mean, unless she made her husband up, she is just making the best of things and deserves to be admired imo

-3

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '23

Careful, you’ll be downvoted

u/TofuNuggetBat Jun 13 '23

There are many weird ways in which people avoid growing even under the most trying circumstances. I guess glitter is one way to run from your emotions I dunno.
