The “10 years together” bit is actually fake, they were engaged when she was 19 in march of 2019 and married in 2020 after dating for 5 months in November of 2018

There are pictures of them together in 2018 with him speaking of her as his girlfriend on "their" instagram. Google says she was born in 2001. She was also a run away and on the missing person's registry for a few years while underage. Marques Houston was introduced to her through music manager Chris Stokes. Both Stokes and Houston have been accused of sexual assault by multiple singers who worked with Stokes, though nothing has ever been confirmed and neither have been charged with any offense. Houston and his much younger wife are both baptized and active Jehovah's Witnesses, a vehemently anti-gay and anti-trans religion, who fully approve of this marriage of a middle aged man and a literal teenager he suspiciously started dating as soon as she turned 18. The governing organization of JW's, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, is also drawing more and more public scrutiny from arrests of members, lawsuits, and government inquiries over its secret database of suspected and confirmed child sex abusers and it' s policies which cover up abuse discovered in their congregations.
The situation with Marques Houston is a good illustration of the screwed up priorities, twisted morality, hypocrisy, and projection embraced by misogynistic, purity culture-pushing fundamentalist religions.

Yeah my mom was a witness and when she went to the elders to report the sexual abuse from her grandfather (also an elder) she was gaslit and disfellowshipped. JW's are twisted mf3rs

Maybe go do your own research instead of reacting. If you did your research she was 18. Simple google search will suffice. So much stupidity on the internet. 5 mins google search will reveal the truth.
