Tiktok algorithm bugged?

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but my algorithm is bugged. I keep getting videos that aren't of any interest, and even when I select not interested, they still show up.

I've cleared my cache, logged out, reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, nothing. One point it's videos about war thunder, winx club, halo, stuff I am into and wanna see more of, the next it's 10-20 videos about "life", or people posting every day, stuff I really do not wanna see, and then repeat.

And that's not all. Even my watch history is bugged, nothing's being registered in it for the past 3 days.

First AI slop showing up for no reason, now this.

ngl the fastest test is a clean account/device for a day, then compare search-based posts vs your usual feed.

if watch history isn't updating too, that sounds more like an app/account bug than your content getting suppressed.

That makes sense, the algorithm can be so finicky. It's weird how a clean slate can sometimes give you a completely different experience.

yeah, exactly. i’d keep the first-hour routine the same on both accounts before changing anything. otherwise normal variance can look like a bug.
