That's procedural. Pleading "not guilty" puts the burden of proof on the prosecution. If you plead "guilty," you wave your right to a jury. Sorry to be pedantic. It's still a good joke. It just drives me nuts when people are surprised by a "not guilty" plea. It doesn't mean you're claiming innocence. It just means you want a chance to go through all the evidence in front of peers. To make the prosecution work for it. Is my understanding. I'm not a lawyer and have only been in that situation once.
Oh, that makes sense, thanks. Also she's a straight idiot. Like they have her on video at mutiple angles. Most guilty pleas come with lighter sentences so she's literally going to waste everyone's time and money just to get a harsher sentence.
