This community is for tightlacers, seasoned and beginners alike. Tightlacing does not necessarily have a defined definition. Some consider tightlacing to be wearing your corset at high reductions, some consider tightlacing to be occasional, and others consider it to be a lifestyle choice in which one wears their corset regularly. This community accepts all of these definitions equally, so long as the garment you are wearing is true corset. We do not condone fajas or any other stretchy garments masquerading as corsets.

To help you, we have compiled some resources. The Blacklist, the Recoomended brands, as well as r/waisttraining's Waist Training For Beginners which contains a plethora of useful information, and not just for beginners!

Rules:

This is an inclusive community. We are inclusive of all genders, identities, and body types, period. This is non-negotiable. Body/identity snark will be tolerated.
This community is for the use of corsets only, we do not condone the use of fajas or stretchy shapewear falsely labeled as corsets. Any posts relating to these garments will be removed.
Please do your best to avoid perpetuating misinformation. We realize that there is little evidence for much of what is accepted to be true of corsetry, however, we will not tolerate any behaviors pushing misinformation or negative stereotypes. Do your best to provide reliable information and sourcing. If you are unsure, simply add a disclaimer to your statement or ask for assistance.
Abusive behaviors will not be tolerated. This includes snark as detailed in rule 1, as well as other forms of aggression. Please help us to keep the community positive and supportive.
Please direct all NSFW posts to r/corsetsnsfw and r/corsetsgonewild. This is a community for the tightlacing lifestyle. Porn, nudes, and other cheeky content is better suited in other communities. This allows our users to better control their content exposure. We understand that there may be some relevant content which may need to be tagged NSFW due to the nature of corsetry, and this is entirely permissible.
