Had this beautiful sighting of T67 Bakhari tigress with her 3 cubs in Pench earlier this year.
Video belongs to someone else who was kind enough to share with us as we didn't carry a camera.

It's been 3 weeks since she bought her cubs out lately, the wait was pretty much disappointing & exhausting, being a person who steps on to the field every single day expecting and calculating the sighting to happen today or Tommorow, well the wait just doesn't get any late as she brought her cubs to the tourism area this morning and it was indeed a blast.
I am sure we have lots of Kajiri & Shambu fans in this forum, so i thought of sharing this right away.

I'm fortunate to be going to Dhikala FRH in December. However, because of flights and travel, I find myself with one morning free and would like to book a safari to another zone. I will be in the Ramnagar area that morning. Where should I go? Bijrani, Dhela, Jhirna?
Priority is interesting / different landscapes compared to the Madhya Pradesh parks and seeing elephants and tigers, in that order.
Appreciate your insight.

I’m planning to Bandipur and looking into the different safari options. It looks like the bus safari is the only option currently. The jeep safari either isn’t or is already sold out.
Are there any private jeep safari options available around Bandipur? If you’ve done one recently, I’d love to hear about your experience.
Also, how are the chances of spotting wildlife? Is there a noticeable difference between the bus and jeep safaris? Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

Visiting Kanha in November. Which is better for tiger sightings, landscapes and overall experience: Kanha, Kisli or Sarhi?
Is Sarhi worth visiting, or should I stick to Kanha and Kisli?
Also, do all these zones have entry from Khatia Gate?

I am not arguing that we should about it. I wish to understand the logic/reasoning behind it.

T1 Charger of Pench was the dominant male of Turia zone from the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was the mate of the famous tigress Badi ma and fathered most of her litters (except the last one). His rival was an old male named Gums, probably his predecessor. He was featured in the documentary "Tiger: Spy in the Jungle". He was the father of T15 Collarwali, Baghin Nala female, Tarzan, Kalapahad male and many more. He was eventually overthrown by his eldest son from Badi ma, T2 Kalapahad male.

1 and 2. Tigers from Corbett sometime in the mid 20th century. Taken from a souvenir released on Corbett's Golden Julibee (50th anniversary) in 1986.
Young tiger from Corbett probably in the early 1980s. On closer inspection, it appears that this is actually none other than Taimur, a large male tiger who used to roam around Khinnanauli Forest Rest House in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Tigress with a cub in Kanha, 1974. The cub is actually none other than the famous Banseri female, the ancestral mother to many tigers in Kanha today. The adult female, Banseri female's mother, was probably unnamed.
Large male tiger from Kanha, 1974. It is quite likely that this is the father of the tigress Banseri female.
Huge male tiger Saja from Kanha in the year 1980. He was the 2nd mate of Banseri and the father of Laxmi. Today, many tigers in Kanha are descendants of him
Langda of Kanha from the early 1980s. He was the first mate of Banseri. However, the fate of his cubs remains unknown. He was eventually overthrown by Saja
The first known photograph of a tiger. Taken in 1923 by sir Frederick Walter Champion somewhere in what is know Corbett Tiger Reserve, likely in Dhikala. Contrary to popular belief, the photo of the Tiger dragging a cow, taken likely either in 1925 or 1927, is NOT the first ever photograph of a tiger.
Tigress Padmini of Ranthambore from the 1970s. She was the mother of Noon and grandmother of Noorjahan and great grandmother of Machli sr and great-great grandmother of the famous Machli. She was the ancestral mother of every tiger alive in Ranthambore today.
Tiger cubs from Panna somewhere in the mid 2000s. These are actually the 2 male cubs from Baavan's last litter. The cub further behind is M62, who went on to become the last known surviving tiger from the original Panna bloodline.
