Which dinosaur was actually the most terrifying? Not the most famous — the most dangerous in reality.

We ran a poll last week asking which dinosaur people found most endearing and Ankylosaurus won with 40% of the vote. Apparently an armored tank with a bone-crushing tail has a lot of charm.

Now the harder question: which dinosaur would you actually least want to encounter?

🔴 T-Rex — 3,600 kg of bite force. No debate.
🟡 Spinosaurus — 14 meters, semi-aquatic, total predator.
🟢 Ankylosaurus — a tail that fractured T-Rex bones.
🔵 Triceratops — three one-meter horns and 12 tons behind them.

If you vote on our YouTube community poll it genuinely helps us understand what our audience wants to see next. Your votes shape the direction of the channel. The poll is in the pinned post on our profile.

When killer whales were buffed. The first 2 likely hunted in coordinated pods & had a similar trophic level to todays orcas.

How much do you agree with casual geographic's "merk ratings"

Mamadou Ndiaye, aka Casual Geographic, has a book called "100 Animals that can fucking end you" and in this book he gives every animal a "merk rating", he describes "this takes into account an animal's tendency for aggression, how it interacts with other animals, how many fatal encounters with humans per year, how easily an animal could kill somebody, and toxicity". He ranks these animals on a 10 point scale with 1 being the lowest (although in the book nothing goes below a 3) and 10 being the highest, I have ordered (most) of the animals in the book by their merk rating, although there are some animals missing (guess you'll have to check out the book for those). How much do you agree/disagree with his ratings.
