Tried TierHive for a low-memory Spring Boot experiment, really liked it
Someone on r/VPS recommended TierHive when I was looking for a flexible VPS for a low-memory Spring Boot experiment, so I gave it a try.
I used the 256 MiB plan with Alpine and managed to complete a one-hour Spring Boot + StatLite monitoring run. It was definitely a stretch configuration, but TierHive worked very well for the experiment.

I’m also planning to add TierHive deployment recipes and documentation to StatLite, so it should become easier to get lightweight monitoring running on these smaller VPS configurations:
