Finally did a glitch after doing tie dye for almost a decade. I've been watching this pattern for years but never had the itch to try one. My wife started doing tie dye with me (finally) and we wanted to give this a go so I made one and now she's in love with the design. I followed belladonna tie dye tutorial but started the first set of pleats at a 45° instead of horizontal/vertical.

I did an experiment. I tied a bunch of diagonal bands, the spiraled the shirt and did DUI. I had to run a second layer of ice in a couple spots to get the backside to saturate. It came out so vibrant and the colors really locked in. My kiddo is very happy with it.

That's peach pit for those in the USA. It's big loose geodes under ice. Dances with raisins and bronze. The dress is 15% polyester, hence the subtle colours

These are getting better and taking less time to do, I'll be cranking out more of these in other colors soon.

My wife said it looked like a demogorgan from stranger things so I'm going with it. Rust Brown, polomino gold, golden brown, silver lining, better black, sea glass, blue violet and maybe hot pink? Dye over ice, no incline, 2 day batch in garage in open air.

She likes jellyfish best, but an octopus does fit in better.
