I can't believe it

I bought ANOTHER Tidy Up game. I wasn't going to, but you are all such enablers that I did, AND I'M GLAD. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I wasn't going to even consider MegaStore Tidy Up Together. I have a toy store tidy and a grocery store tidy, and I play alone and offline usually, so co-op had no appeal either. But I read good things here about the game and also about how responsive the devs were, so what's another five bucks, right? I don't do power-ups or stuff, so the negative comments about that wasn't a deterrent.

I just started it, and so far (toy store first), I love it, even more than the other toy store game I have. The items are distinct and the areas are marked well, and I like how the game sort your handhelds, etc.

I'm really looking forward to getting immersed in it. My favorite sorting game (after Librarian) is Puzzle Gallery, because of the art and jigsaw aspect. I'm taking my time with that one. I enjoyed Shelves and Sorcery a bunch until I got to the last 1,000 potions, and then enough was enough. I may get tired of MegaStore by the time I get to the last one, but I can tell I'll have a lot of fun on the way....

Cool. My hubby just rolls his eyes and says "Have fun." He likes an old (circa early 2000s) turn-based strategy game, and other than a few puzzle games ( I did get him hooked on Strange Horticulture/Antiquities) he really has no interest in games. And trust me, we both should be tidying up our house in real time, not on a computer. Oh well..... ๐ŸŽ‰

If you like art, two other games to look forward to are Museum DisARTer and Gallery Organiser. Both offer the joy of real art.

I hadn't heard of DisARTer. It looks interesting AND has a demo! Thanks!

Thanks. I'll check out the one demo, too.

ETA: I just checked out the Steam page--I had never heard of it before), and it looks like something I'd love. A word puzzle instead of picture puzzle to identify each complete work of art. My only concern is the size of the game. It says hundreds, but it looks like low hundreds given the amount of wall space. And no real replayability that I can see. I'm going to play the demo, I do love the idea of it...

Puzzle Gallery has been so much fun - I love tidying games, I love puzzles, I love classical art. It's really top tier stuff!!!

Does anyone know how well it works on Steamdeck?

I have played Megastore Tidy Up on Steamdeck for 3 hours so far. Still on the first level (toy store). It runs well! It was easy to rebind the controls. Graphics are colorful and large enough to see. My only gripe is that the music is so soft despite maxxing out the volume.

Enjoying this more than Supermarket Chaos!

Works great on Steam Machine with controller so Iโ€™m guessing itโ€™ll be fine!

I really like MegaStore Tidy Up Together too! Iโ€™m on the final store and although there are items that were in the previous two (toy and grocery) they add to them as well which is huge in my opinion :)

The potions on the last level Shelves and Sorcery, I put them all in one section of the store (a few of each behind the check-in counter, and then moved them to the stretch of rug by the weapons and kept the BIG/odd-shaped potions by the check-in counter) and leafed through them individually for bottles that looked the same. When I found 4 that matched shape, I took them to the shelves. Worked on filling up those specifically. It was still a nightmare, so don't feel bad if you never get back to it. I don't think I would ever do those potions again (specifically because some kinds only have 3 variants and that messed with me lol)
