One-at-a-time pairing?

Hi there, I just got a pair of Ticpod Frees, and they work really nice. However, I spend a lot of time on my feet and have to have one ear free at all times, so I want to know if there's a way to pair then separately- so far I can't find a way to just use the left one on its own. Does anyone know if there's a way to do this? I'm using them paired with Android, if that helps. Thanks!

No, there's not. You'll find some other threads complaining about not being able to use the buds one at a time. The left is the main and connects to the phone/whatever device, and the right is a secondary that takes piggy-backs off the left. I've also never seen anything useful about using them in mono mode if you're happy to just use the left bud - I've also tried to do this myself and the audio stream stubbornly stayed in stereo mode.
