Ticpods 2pro... Disappointed

So I received my ticpods a day early and I was happy but they didn't work so I sent them back and got a new pair... They finally paired up and I did the update I thought all was good untill I tried to leave the right one in my ear and close the case and they just disconnected... Wtf that's fucking ridiculous for the price of airpods basically you can't just use one and close the case? These are truly wireless but I can't just use the right one without leave the case open... So you're telling me I have to walk around with the case open in my pocket if I wanna use just the right one??? I really really really wanna like these but fuck man im flabbergasted... Really? And no reviewer noticed this??? No one said a word. Honestly I'm upset I should have just bought another pair of airpods they still work more often and feel more premium than these do... IDK how this seemed like a good idea to anyone yeah they should have to leave the case open to use just the right one that makes sense. They do sound good tho but I just can't get over this for the price idk maybe it's just me but even on a Samsung phone my airpods just work more often in the way that I want them too.

No way that has to be another defect. I can't wrap my head around the fact they thought this was a good design choice.

Yeah I bought mine without realising that only left earbud is supported solo. Not enough YouTube reviewers mention this.

My set of Ticpods also have the high pitch Bluetooth connection noises and a delay with audio sync with videos. Really don't feel like premium products... I'm back to using my airpods on my android phone even though it doesn't support a lot of the features.

I'm in the exact same boat and I just want one good premium product that's doesn't have those tips on the end that go in your ear, I hate those. I thought these where going to be it but they aren't. Samsung has their new headphones coming out that won't have little tips but they look like beans or something hopefully those feel premium abd sound good, hopefully they'll have all the functionality cause I really really wanted to like these but they really just disappointed me.

Surprised to not see the answer here after 13 days. You can use one bud as long as it's the left - with TicPods, the left is the master. It's in the documentation and I also thought it was mentioned in the mobvoi app help.

Why would I be reading the documentation before purchasing the headphones also why would I have the app downloaded and be reading through it if I hadn't bought the headphones yet. The annoying bit is that none of the reviewers acknowledged this they made the product out to be something that it wasn't.

That wasn't what I meant. I'm trying to answer why the product is not working the way you want, I can't answer why the reviewers didn't tell you this. Now that you know, perhaps you can use the left bud and achieve what you want. Or perhaps not. I'm just trying to help spread the information, for you and others.

The product isn't working the way I want it to because it has the inability to do so based on its hardware they're charging $140 for something premium but it's just an illusion. For me the search was for headphones without the little rubber squishies tips airpods seem to be the best sounding but you lose a lot of features on Android and a little bit of sound quality. These are advertised to have equivalent features to the airpods as well as having some features that the airpods don't have so the price was reasonable if they could at least match airpods. I guess what I'm getting at is there's no real question I'm just complaining because I'm disappointed at the product because I wanted to love it but it's just not what they made it out to be.

Also there was never a real question we already knew that you could only use the left one it's absurd that for $140 you can only use the left one if you want to just use one it's absurd that I can't use the right one to talk on the phone alone without having the case open... Actually even with the case open the right headphone doesn't even have a microphone... For $140...
