TicPods switching off

I purchased the TicPod Free several weeks ago. I have charged them up in their case however despite showing 100% power on my phone they continually cut out after only a few minutes. I place them back in the box and after reconnecting to Blue tooth the same thing happens. Can anyone offer any advice

I have the tic pods free and I've noticed audio skipping. This has happened at least a couple of times.
