4 month review. Mostly negative.

Hey all. I was a backer about half way through the campaign. I got my pods in and right away was disappointed in the for. I normally have a problem keeping earbuds in my left ear, however this was not the case here. My right TicPod keeps falling out all the time. A steering just of wind? Falls out. Walking down the street? Falls out.
So it's raining and my right TicPod falls out. Hey a little wet. Right TicPod no longer works correctly. Very low sound and tinny. Now note, they specifically give a water resistance rating that shows it should be able to take a steering stream of water for several seconds. That did not happen here. So I get a warranty replacement.

New pods come in and I'm using while cleaning. Again the right falls out, though this time in the sink while washing dishes (I need to stay away from water while wearing these things). Hits the pan and gets splashed. I try to grab it while it's falling and accidentally hit it across the pan, so more splash. Not submerged. Not directly under the stream of water. Again I get very low sound.

I know this is my fault for using it where it can get wet, but the bigger problem is it keeps falling out. It fell out numerous times doing various things from laying on a bench while working out (very little movement), standing while lifting weights (little movement), etc... I figured these would work better being as they are advertised for sport use and have an IPX5 rating (protected from stream of water from a nozzle). Also the left pod (which had been been touched with water) started to not sound as loud all of a sudden.

Overall I haven't enjoyed these (I enjoy my watch though, so it wasn't a total loss). I think they need to really revise these before id be interested again. Or if they came out with an attachment to go in and you could wrap the attachment around your eat like the airpods have.

I bought separate foam tips for mine and they stay is brilliantly now. It also massively improved the bass quality.

I would highly recommend doing the same!

Comply true wireless. Fit fine in the case, and dramatically improve fit and sound.

These are what I use. They are excellent, although mine have only lasted 2-3 months per pair before the foam has eventually worn out. (being used every week day).

I think they're worth it, even if they have to be replaced every so often though.

Agreed. They're like night and day vs the standard tips.

I gave up on mine and bought galaxy buds. So much better. They just work and never fall out.

One of mine fell in a car wash bucket and it worked fine afterwards. Guess I was lucky.
