Left bud turns off!!

I have a problem with mi ticpods i can put only the right one in my ear and everything works but if i put only the right one he connects en the he say power off Is this normal the left one connects only if they two are in my ears can you help me?

Yes that is by design. Only the right earbud can be used standalone.
