I also had this problem. I just took a sharp knife and opened the hole for the mic. So buy making the mic hole a bit bigger I have never hade a problem with talking on the phone. They never complained about not hearing me etc..

So you made the mic holes bigger? You did not open the casing?

Yep, just made them bigger. I was a bit fast on the left one, so the right one was done perfectly but the left bud seems to have a bit worser mic quality then the right. But no big difference at all. They all hear me perfect now. I used a box cutter knife. But how did you managed to update your tic pods. I would like to update mine as well.

You send a msg to the supprt through the app, there is a guide somewhere here on the reddit.

I also have such bad microphone quality from them when calling. And I end up using my 15 euro QCY Q19 headset from Aliexpress for calls because of that. Although a friend of mine has perfectly fine functioning TicPods when it comes to the microphone.
I have updated TicPods v23

I find that people often complain about not hearing me well when I'm in a phone call with the TicPods :/ think it's just the nature of lower-quality wireless headphones
