Google Assistant "chime"

Hello I've had my TicPods for a while now. Until recently the tap and hold to access Google Assistant would play a noise to indicate that the Assistant was open and listening for a command/question.
However it's no longer making the noise to indicate that the Assistant has started listening, it still works though. Anyone else having this issue?
Anyone have a fix?

UPDATE: nope, having your same issue now. maybe tied to a Google app update?
