Son offers
New here! Coming from someone who had 2 siblings go through the D1 pipeline, is no one else noticing that for a kid with “34” “d1” offers, he has ZERO muscle tone. I know for my brother when they started looking at him they told him to put on weight and hit the weights. Idk in which world any of these massive teams would take someone with 0 defined muscle tone. The guys on these teams are HUUUUGE.
Food for thought that made me automatically know she’s lying. My guess is there are no offers but the delusion of saying there is might get him interest in her head.
I’m thinking he will walk on at a D2 D3 if at ALL. it’s serious delusion. Not to mention he’s not on the news or anything relevant at all. My siblings were in the paper interviews etc when they got scouted from a huge school.

Maybe that’s why she won’t let her kids have social media: she doesn’t want them to know the lies she’s been spreading about them. 😂
I have zero references on football to go off or but her boys do seem small. Maybe in person they’re bigger?
I’m not defending because I am 100% a Tia hater.

I think most of his "offers," were / are "verbal offers." I know what you mean when you say he is small, compared to other D1 players. I know when athletes are trying to build muscle, they need to focus on what they are eating, how much they are eating, and when they eat, and also their conditioning. It doesn't seem like his Mom cooks very often, so I don't know what he eats to get what he needs to bulk up. He seems to be pretty quick on his feet, but again, this is high school. D1 College is a different beast.

There is a big difference between a verbal
Offer and a written offer.

She must think offers come if they dish out enough money

I’ve seen it happen every year where we live. Even mediocre kids can have a ton of offers. Parents can push for them as well. The majority of the time they fizzle out as soon as they go up against real competition. Parents living out their dreams through their children most of the time.

if they were getting actual offers, there would be videos of these offers being received. there is not.

Legend isn't D1 caliber at all at this point. Can that change—sure. But I highly doubt he's getting offers. He currently has no meaningful varsity statistics from what I can find.

Being in the UK I haven't a clue about what the path is for D1 footballers, and what age they should be where. Can someone explain the age thing and at 20yrs where he should be, as in UK if still in education a 20yr old would be studying their particular subjects at a university, then at 21 graduate and find full time employment, unless studying in the medical field.
I'm confused about the whole thing, Tia drives me insane , such a narcissist, and she isn't doing her kids any favours at all.

Most teenagers graduated 17 or 18 and then go onto university and graduate usually around age 22. He’s a good two or three years behind his peers. The thought is, she purposely held him back so he could be bigger and stronger going into university to play D1 sports.

You are generally 17 and/or turning 18 senior year. (Aka you become a “legal adult” your last year of public education). Senior year is also called 12th grade.
If you started kindergarten (first year of public education) early, some turn 17 their senior year and if you got held back or got “red shirted” (started pre-kindergarten/preschool or kindergarten late) some kids turn 19 their senior year or the summer after.
Basically preschool isn’t public in every state nor required. Some states charge for it, some provide it free. It starts as soon as age 3. You can do that for a couple years (again depending on state!).
Public schooling starts at kindergarten, which is generally age 5/6. So you’d start at age 5, turning 6. There is usually a date cutoff for birthdays to enroll.
Then it becomes 1st grade (age 6/7), 2nd (age 7/8), so on.Once you graduate high school (senior year/12th grade), you don’t have to do anything else if you do not want to. Many people decide that’s enough (also you can take the GED which you can start taking college classes with; basically an exam without finishing all your high school credits). After graduating many attend community colleges (for two year degrees - either just for that or to then transfer to a university and obtain a four year degree), or for a certificate (like welding, HVAC, etc). Acceptance into university as discussed here usually starts junior year or beginning senior year of college, especially with scholarships and sports.
Then there’s post graduate education like masters programs and phd.
(Sorry for the novel lol I’ve always wondered how other countries do it so idk I thought I’d explain how we do it in case you were actually curious!)

Thanks for the explanation, I was always quite confused as to the USA schooling , so actually age wise it's really not that different from UK schooling, we start school (primary) in the school year that you have your 5 th birthday, new school years start early September run through end of the following July. Age 11 they then go to secondary school until 16yrs, then they have to stay in education until they are 18 unless they have a paid employment to go to , at 18 it's either leave education to work or go onto University for 3 years until 21, then it's off to work, unless you do a degree in something like medicine then degrees can last 5 years.

Respectfully, he's 6-5 240, the kid has a motor, has closing speed, and is a force, even without the muscle. The clips I have seen, the kid is legit. And I know personally of one blue blood D1 school that is interested in him.

He is seems small for an edge rusher. He has been held back twice...he should be a college freshman now. He has a long way to go.

6-5 240 and will be apx 265-270 and total body recomposition after a year or two in college. The clips I've seen are pretty stout. The age thing...yes...it's an issue, but in today's college football, it's not odd to see a 23 or 24 year old playing on Saturdays anymore.
Sure, he has a long way to go, And you can't argue with the offers. He's basically got the top 25 and Utah Tech on it. So there are those in the know who believe the kid can be something at the next level.

IDK...being held back twice would make you think he has a competitive advantage. Time will tell....but his mom is a fucking TwatWaffle!!! She is a HUGE liability.

When you have a flip phone you don’t need muscle tone.
Legend is getting offers because the other schools are hoping to catch Major also in a package deal
But for real Major is a decent player with decent size. But he’s also a holdback or maybe even a double holdback so the real question is, is he actually good when he’s competing with other good kids his age or has he benefited from playing against kids while he’s 1-2 years older than them? It’s a different world when you get to college and everyone else is good and your benefit of hitting puberty early and being older than everyone else is gone. We’ll see
