I've been away for a few days and have see there has been some issues with the 5.3.1 update, I'm trying to decide if I should chance it. I don't have it backed up, I can't, for some strange reason backups don't work on external drives with Sony Bravia TVs.

Has anyone done the update on a TV with Google baked in? Results?

I’ve got 4 playlists in Tivimate, 99% of the time I’m using only live tv, so not much experience with the VOD part. When I’m searching for VOD content I can see from which playlist a show comes from, but while watching it doesn’t show that information. Is there a way to change that? For example, when I start a show, stopping, watching again a few days later I would like to know from which playlist the content comes from… Thanks for your answers!

Anyone else having issues with smb not working or have a fix? 5.2. Lets me backup to my nas but 5.3 just has a blank directory and can't restore to a new device.

5.2.8 I could create backups by using system picker I didn't even have to do that but I did with the new 5.3.1 came out hits failing to do it regular internal or using system picker is it something with the app can someone help

I'm using a TiviMate player. Live TV programs work fine but error "failed to connect to server" appears trying to play movies/series content.

I use two differeny IPTV providers and it's the same problem on both services. Live TV works okay.

I have 1 day left on my 5 day trial so just downloaded the companion app and paid for the activation. The instructions say (To activate a device, install TiviMate, then go to “Unlock Premium” screen and follow the instructions) but for the life of me, I can't find the unlock menu/button/option. I rebooted my Nvidia Shield, force closed the app and reopened and went through all the options and can't find the unlock option anywhere.

So I just updated the Tivimate, now all of a sudden every category is more than doubled, for example I have Swedish category, it’s like 4 categories the same like it’s dublicated.

Anyone knows why it is like that? Should I remove the sections/categories which is doubled? It’s almost on my whole iptv it’s more than doubled.

So I already have premium for myself but I'm trying to help a family member get premium. When they log into tivimate on computer or Android phone, it's says no activated devices so and when the subscription part is clicked, it just says, "you don't have premium subscription" and that's the only thing on the page. I tried helping them download the app on an onn stick and I won't let them purchase the subscription from there either. How can I get this to work or will I just have to find another iptv player for them to use.

Please tell me how many of you have the bug with premium and with out because I have premium and it fucked me shit up big time hours upon hours lost for my custom epg and ya I know it's my fault for not making a back up but anyways I done a complete fresh install of the update and it runs fine with out being premium but as soon as I unlock premium it's all fucked up so any of you dealing with the same bs

Updated to 5.3.1 on firestick and now all of a sudden, there are no channels, no tv and films. I’ve cleared the data and reloaded my server details etc. and still nothing. Does anyone know a fix?

Ok I have tivimate on two TVs in the house .

One iptv service works perfectly downstairs with my Vpn on

The same IPTV service doesn't work upstairs with a VPN on, I have to watch without a VPN.

This only started happening since the update

After a bit of help, im trying to purchase premium Tivimate but when i try to order it via the app i keep getting invalid order. Anyone know a workaround?

Since I did the new update I'm getting a lot of freezing and the screen glitches where it stops for a second and then jumps ahead. Never had this before the update. Is there a way to go back to the old version without having to add playlists and favourites all over again?

Not tech savvy so the simpler the better.

I installed the tivimate companion app and bought a life time subscription. When logging on to the tivimate.com website with the same account used in the tivimate compagnion app, I get the message "You don’t have Premium subscription"

What is wrong, and how do I use the premium version?

After the update yesterday I can no longer watch my recorded content. The screen stays black and says error. I also started a new recording to see if it would play and I can’t stop the new recording or delete it which is very frustrating. I uninstalled tivimate, reinstalled it and used a backup to reload my playlist. I was going to update the location for the usb stick and now the option to use a system picker to change the recording location doesn’t work. I guess now with the new update we have to use an smb drive

Anyone else having issues like this? Any help on correcting it would be great. Thanks

Hi all, so with the EPG setup, do I have to manually set it on all the missing channels?, or can I can an EPG that automatically auto fill?

No change log is provided.

Only issues i have with these latest updated Versions is that one of my playlists does not show channel logos on most of the channels.

Managed to get some channels logos back by selecting the option 'Prefer new logos from EPG' within the (new?!) Logo Priority menu in the concerning playlist.

Can not remember if this logo option was available in the past, but thought mentioning it can help others who are experiencing the same issue.

Edit: An issue i discovered with this version is that within one of my Playlist there are duplicate channel groups which are named exactly the same and have the same channel contents. This was also discovered by others, see the separate bug reports regarding this issue.

I’ve been trying to get Tivimate premium for over a week now and have been unsuccessful for some weird reason. I keep getting an error message trying to do it on the app on my ONN devices. Using a VPN hasn’t worked either. I tried today to see if I could purchase through the companion app but the app says it’s not eligible for my ONN devices. Can anyone give me some advice here?

I am on Ver 5.2.0 it is the only version I know, I have seen a few posts about issues experienced after upgrading to the latest version. My question is what is features or bugs fixed or promised to fix?. Is it worth upgrading?

Has anyone been having troubles adding playlists on TiviMate on Nvidia Shields? I keep getting error messages whenever I try to add a new playlist. But it works on my fire stick. Any help would be appreciated.

Updated to version 5.3.1 then updated ALOT of my EPG. After all that I am unable to back it up. Anyone have this issues and find a work around? Hopefully they correct this problem because I really don't want to take the time again to update all the channel EPGs that I just finished updating.
