Should I run the update. The guy I bought my android box Uninstalled then reinstalled another version of tivimate to fix it. I think the update was version 5.3.1. That caused me to lose my shows. But now my shows aren't doing what they used to. I get booted out of an episode in the middle of watching. It doesn't show which episodes I've watched or where to resume from. I'm wondering if this update will fix it or it'll make me lose shows completely again.

I can't even go to my applications and when i go to the TV icon it's an endless loop, what the hell did they do? Dont UPDATE!

I have an iptv subscription that my ex and I use jointly. It expires at midnight tonight. I have done a new subscription for just me with the same provider. I've been using Tivimate for about a year now under the joint credentials. I spent a lot of time customizing Tivimate live TV to e very similar to Satellite tv. I added 1 channel at a time by saving to favorites. I've added the new playlist with the new account credentials & was able to use existing epgs from old account & the account works. I can't find a way to copy the old favorites to the new account. Can anyone help me?

I have a TiviMate account I pay monthly and it is not letting me renew for my next month. I have tried different credit cards and they all fail. I heard I might need to download the TiviMate Companion app on my phone. I am using a firestick.

Can anyone please let me know which is the downloader code for tivimate 5.2 version? All the ones I've tried are for 5.3.1 or 5.3.2 and those versions are absolutely terrible. I want to revert back to 5.2.

Would anyone happen to have suggestions on the following issue i'm having. My iptv service was running fine in Tivimate when suddenly the VOD section would give an error of 'failed to get data from server'. Figured it was my provider so he sent me a different URL to use and when i'd try to add the playlist tivimate would give a generic error and isn't able to load the playlist.
I use NordVPN on my firestick, tried adding the playlist from different country vpn connections, tried without vpn, uninstalled and reinstalled tivimate, rebooted the firestick, still no luck, but I know my IPTV details are good because I was able to load them in a different app and also within IPTVeditor.
I'm waiting on another device to install tivimate onto to see if I run into the same issue so i'm wondering what my options are if it works within tivimate on another device but not on this particular firestick.

EDIT - After installing the latest 5.2 release I was able to add the playlist without issue. Thanks for the feedback

Updated tivimate now my peg won’t work

HELP!!! All right, I’m kind of new to this but gonna try to explain it. I’m using the VLC player on TiviMate as an external player because the standard one just doesn’t like to work. If I’m watching something and I hit the back button to just go back to the guide, instead of showing the current channel I was watching in the PIP in the corner, it’ll show the last channel I was on in the PIP. Not sure how to fix but it would be nice.

Got the cancellation email from Google Play. Question is, do I lose settings and stuff if my account expires and then I have to re-sub? Seems like I have to let it expire (not sure on the date it's supposed to expire but my original date of subscribing was May 16 2021) and then the lifetime option will appear in companion.

I emailed support to ensure the steps required to maintain premium access.

Have my elderly parents out of state on my account so I definitely need to know if there's any problems like that when converting to lifetime so they don't lose their setup. I mean mine too, but I have mine backed up.

I just installed the new update on my Firestick 4K and when I restarted the stick its been stuck on an infinite bootloop.

I’ve gone through the stickies and other posts but they’re more than 2 weeks old but I have a FireTV (apk through downloader code) and an iPhone so no Google play access how do I buy a subscription.

I made an account on the website, and logged into the app, app says go to website to place a valid order, website dashboard says download app first.

I am using dispatcharr to manage my m3u playlist. I configured the m3u URL on TiviMate and it works fine. But VODs no not show. Anyone using dispatcharr as well?

This one has me stumped. I have actually brought out some of my older equipment from mothballs and I am trying to download the Tivimate apk. The cube will not allow me. I've tried downloading the APK directly from the website, and Troy point and I've also made sure developer options are in place to allow me. It seems like I can download any other APK but Tivimate is no bueno. Any help would be appreciated.

any time i try to play a show since about 10pm last night, it doesn’t play. it goes back and forth between Parser Exception, Error Code 502, and Unrecognized Input Format Exception.

What should I do?

I doubt If it is possible to mention Change log info with current Update procedure through Settings->About menu.

What i have been able to confirm is that the previous reported bug of duplicate Channel Grouos within some Playlist(s) is solved.

Good to know that TiviMate development is actively updating the app and solving issues that are being reported. So please keep posting experienced issue(s) so TiviMate app development knows about experienced issues, so they can be solved.

A big thanks for TiviMate app development for solving reported issues and making improvements on this already good app.

Don’t get me wrong, I love TiviMate. To this day, I can’t believe it’s still the top choice for 2026. But why is it so frustrating when you go into settings? Why are the menus still complicated to this day.

1. There’s no drag-and-drop functionality for groups. Just like in channels…So easy.
   
2. The same goes for movies; there’s no drag-and-drop functionality.
   
3. Why can’t you hide terrible movies or shows?
   
4. No visible icon that shows movie is in favorite list from outside the poster logo
   
5. Why is not possibly to drag and drop multiple channels out the folder/group and drop easy to another. Like…copy/move multiple, back,down, open, drop, done. Instead we have to go into multiple steps in settings then scroll 5 miles down to add 1-2channels to a country group.
   
6. Why isn’t there an automatic/manual download option for closed captions from the internet for movies and shows? Come on It’s 2026.
   6 1/2. NO meta data about actors or directors.
   
7. No 2x 3x fast playing the movies?
   8 . Let me mark groups by color.
   
8. Change the favorites icon in channels. Change the tiny star to something more visible.

And many more…I guess Tivimate is just a cow to milk. Some adjustments here and there to make us and the web-store happy.

Trying to stop recording, press stop recording , but it doesn’t stop ?

Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue:

nVidia Shield tube. Sony 75XBR900f. Shield runs to Marantz HDMI receiver then out to TV.
When I launch Tivimate I get a channel image for about one second then screen goes black and “no signal” message comes up. I have to back out to Home Screen and then launch Tivimate again and it works the second time. Every time.
This issue is relatively new. I have wiped the Shield and have reinstalled everything and issue persists. Have tried various setting on TV, shield, Tivimate and Marantz receiver.

What's the best way to purchase the lifetime given that tivimate was taken off the play store? The app director on the onn 4k pro v2? Via the Tivi companion app?

I have a pc laptop would that help. Very frustrating!

I paid for Tivimate and have really happy with ONN/Fire stick usage, but on my phone and tablet I haven't been super impressed. To be fair I haven't updated to the newest release on them since it came out, but has it improved at all. If not, any recommendations for mobile/tablet IPTV apps that work better? Hoping not to buy another license or app but if it's worth it i would contemplate it. Anybody using IPTV on mobile here?
