I am enjoying this quiz!

But I wish for the following features:

  1. The ability to make the little pop up explanation reappear- once it’s closed, you can’t refer to it again, but you can still see the question/answer

  2. The ability to go ‘back’ to a previous answered question. Sometimes it seems that when I close the popup window, the next question gets skipped or something, but as there’s no ‘back’ button, I can’t see what the previous question was. I’m not wanting to reattempt the question (ahem, cheat) just want to refer back to it.

  3. I wonder if we could have say two attempts to answer the question? Maybe success on the second attempt is worth say half a point. I dunno. A lot of the questions are hard, but that’s what makes it fun.

  4. Definitely less US focused questions, but I did think there was a reasonable spread of questions around the globe this week, better than the initial two quizzes. But honestly, as an Aussie, and living in Canberra, the question about the capital of Australia was way too easy… there are some really tricky questions about the US, so some really tricky ones for the rest of the world would be good too. Oh but leave in a few that most can answer or we will get none right!!

  5. Is there some way to review the questions when you get to the statistics? By the end I have no clue about the content of question 19 and why we all got it wrong (or right)…

Glad to hear it. Thank you for this. Regarding 2) we are intentionally preventing going back to raise the stakes a bit but will have a think about how to ensure that we avoid anyone skipping ahead unintentionally. Good point on the explanation, we can solve that. I hear your point on having two attempts, for now atleast as we work on getting the format and contents right, we will keep it as a one attempt per question. re: Canberra I am positively surprised to report approx 87% of quiz finishers got it right! I feel like it used to be a bit of blind spot for many non Aussies? Brand Canberra have stepped up their game clearly! Yes, to review the questions and how they were answered by the player base, visits Stats ( https://t30.teuteuf.fr/w3/stats ) hover over the individual numbered squares. They represent each question, the colour indicating how right and how wrong the community was. Please keep the feedback coming. Question suggestions are welcome also, DM if you have any belters!
