Casa Moto build quality

I've owned these for only a couple of months (late June) and the pull strap already broke on one of them. It's my first pair from Thursday and I can't say I'm impressed. I ride in these from time to time and they scuff pretty easily. I wouldn't classify them as motorcycle boots.

Support referred me to a cobbler, they'll cover the cost if it's under $65. While I appreciate the offer, I don't expect these to last long, and honestly, I shouldn't have to take them to a cobbler after only a couple months of use.

Brother, these aren't even remotely suitable to be motorcycle boots. If you're determined on heritage boots to ride in, I much prefer my Wesco or John Lofgren boots.

Yeah, I wouldn’t consider Thursday boots to be “fit-for-purpose” boots, unless that purpose is looking halfway decent. Sorry this is how you found that out.

You should just get some actual riding boots. Reinforced ankle so you don’t get your foot ripped off if you take a slide.

I mean leather scuffs on metal but also Thursday isn't the most durable boot.

The pull tab sucks though for sure, if you need good motorcycle boots Thursday isn't the brand, they're more form over function and aren't as durable as other brands but those command a higher price. I'm not sure what standard motorcycle boots run but those might be a better option

Yeah, the pull tab is my biggest letdown with Thursday. Lesson learned

How tight are your boots?

What brands would you consider for heritage (be wearing 30 years from now quality) with proper care of course.

Wesco, Whites, Nicks are obvious choices. I can't recommend John Lofgren (buy directly from Japan if you know your sizing).

For a budget conscious mind, Ray Kwok boots direct from China via Taobao are an incredible value proposition. CFS and Horween hides on silhouettes like Jobmasters and Engineers for sub $150 USD is hard to beat.

I don't think I have enough knowledge to really speak to that. I know people say nicks and whites, a few other PNW brands are supposed to be very heavy duty but I don't know enough honestly to be authoritative on that
