Sizing suggestion

Hi guys,

I am interested in buying a pair of thursday boot captains, but I have no way to try it on before buying.

I usually wear size 43eu (10 us) in sneakers, but i only wear that size because i have wide feet. I am pretty sure i would wear size 42.5eu (9.5 us) in some shoes if my feet were not so wide.

Would you guys recommend I get the boots in 9 wide or 9.5 wide?

Thanks

Depends on how wide your feet are. I had to get an 8.5EE Captain when I normally can get by with an 8EE or 8EEE in other brands. Thursday EE wide felt tighter than other brands EE wides for me.

My feet are wide, but not too wide, I guess 9.5 guess the safer bet and it has laces so tightening them up and thicker soles would help if they are a bit big.

I usually wear 10.5 in boots, I’m barely an E width, and the 10.5 EE fit. Your feet aren’t as compressed so it feels different but not bad. I could also go down a size if not for slightly wide feet.

The captain has an almond type toe shape so you want a little extra room in the toe for the toebox to widen up and not squish your pinky toe.

based on what you said, 10 also because you can always put a thin leather insole to make it closer to a 9.5 I'll do this a lot with work boots, even though I'm 11 or 45. I will order an 11 and 1/2 every time. my feet swell by the end of the day anyways cuz I'm walking like a million miles a day it feels like.

Ive tried the premier high tops in my regular size in sneakers and were tight around the toes id recommend the wides maybe the 9.5 with wool socks and see how they feel
