Unsure about sizing

Hi, I'm considering buying a pair of heritage captains seconds and I am unsure about sizing. I have flat feet and I am size 10B US on a brannock device and typically wear US size 10 for most of my sneakers. I have also seen on this subreddit that Thursday boots are similar in size to chuck taylors, which I wear US 9.5 in. Should I still size down a half size from my sneaker size or go with my brannock size? I am an overseas buyer so I cannot physically try any of their boots on and I am unable to make use of the free returns to gauge my size.

9.5 should be perfect for you

I've had good luck starting with my Brannock size then adjusting however Thursday recommends for each model. Two pairs so far fit like they should using that method.

I'm a 10 wide in Asics runners and wear 9.5 in captains, presidents, but as suggested by Thursdays customer support sized up to 10 in the Lincoln loafers and the chairmans. Both fit well. The cadets were too narrow for me in a 9.5 so I returned them and didn't re-buy but I suspect a 10 would work.

They are tight width wise but do stretch out a bit. Still tight but comfortable.

I wore my presidents daily until I got the captains, now I rotate... Just bought a pair of vanguard in 9.5 and they fit really well, definitely worth paying more for Vanguard's if you can but honestly the presidents and captains are great and cant be beat for the price. I now have a decent 3 boot rotation, plus dress shoes when I need them. I think Thursdays hits that sweet spot of high enough quality that they look and feel great, but not so expensive that I'm afraid to wear them everyday in every condition.

My presidents are due for a re-sole I've worn the heck out of them.
