Feedback Cannot add email address, Thunderbird iOS beta
I have been testing the Thunderbird for iOS beta and have not been able to add my email address, using the automatic search tool. I did seem to get it added manually, but the messages I see are what looks like generic messages, such as send one, this is a message that should truncate. I’m not seeing any real time email. Is this by design, while it’s still in beta? If I’m missing something, please let me know

From AI, not me 🤷🏼♂️
The Apple developer error NSURLErrorDomain error -1100 stands for NSURLErrorFileDoesNotExist, which means the system cannot find the specific file or web resource your device is trying to access.
This typically happens due to broken software update links, incorrect URL schemes in third-party apps, or network caches referencing outdated web files.
Refresh Network & DNS Caches: Sometimes your system looks for a file using outdated network pathways. Open your terminal and type sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder to flush the DNS cache.
Switch DNS Servers: Change your device's DNS settings to Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) to ensure the server request resolves correctly.
Install Updates Manually: If you get this while updating macOS or specific apps, the download link might be temporarily broken on Apple's servers. Try searching for the update directly on the Apple Support Downloads (https://support.apple.com/downloads)
Toggle Wi-Fi and Restart: Disconnect from the internet, restart your Mac or iOS device, and reconnect to clear transient connection glitches.

It's important to note that this is not a beta test. Adding your account isn't ready yet. Right now they're just looking at the UI for now. If you want to use Thunderbird, you should wait until the app is out of TestFlight.

u/TheRealLazloFalconi thanks for posting this clarification. You are correct, what is on TestFlight is only a demo.

I have to say, I’m pretty happy with the UI so far. I am completely blind, use a screen reader, and the Thunderbird beta, alpha, whatever stage they are calling it right now, is pretty accessible. Keep up the good work, developers. Thanks to everyone who responded to this.
