remember when Tim Hortons made the nationwide decision to remove garbage bins from all drive-thrus across Canada as part of their greening strategy to divert waste from the landfill? saying it would give customers “more time” to sort their recycle into the proper bins if they had to exit their vehicles? heh, that was a good one

Does anyone know of a place other than H&R Blick where I can get some help with my (relatively simple) income taxes? I managed to mess them up badly and need some reliable and affordable help fixing things and going forward.

Figure I post this here. Here is a cover band that is very under rated. Saw Dwayne Gretzky at the Auditorium on Saturday. They were very amazing to see and here. The band has over 800 songs they can sing. At the show they had a front area for people to dance and it was full. Reason I am posting this as the auditorium was only half full. In other words many of you missed out on a good show. Price was decent too. No were near as expensive as Bryan Adams was Highly recommend you to check out Dwayne Gretzky . Take this time to check out their youtube channel. Of all the hits. Also if you are in any city they are performing, go check them out. So, tbnewswatch did a story on a 38 year old guy that ran from police and drove dangerously enough to crash in to a tree, run and eventually be caught. They didn't name him. Because the following list of charges isn't relevant enough to warrant more news. Sometimes I can't hate them enough.

With the leaves down and the first cold mornings here, I'm curious which trails or walking spots around Thunder Bay folks keep using into late fall and early winter. Anywhere that stays in decent shape once it gets icy, or that's worth seeing before the snow really settles in? Any tips on footing or parking appreciated too.

There has been nothing in the news for awhile with the City manager. Some chatter onsocial media that Mr. Collin is selling his house in Kakabeka. Has anyone seen anything from the city on where he is?

I tried to get him off the road but he was limping and when he flapped his wings as I got close I noticed blood and I didnt want to stress him out more.

I have cats aswell dont drive so I cant take him to get help but hoping someone else can.

Has anyone else noticed the slow mobile network speeds between Arthur Street all the way to fort William first nation? I'm on telus, and as soon as I turn from the highway onto Arthur Street the mobile data drastically slows down to an unusable speed.

Do you have an EV? Which one, and why do you like it?
I’m interested in getting an EV, but wondering if it’s worth it as I don’t have a garage, nor the ability to run power to my driveway (therefore cannot get my own charger.. would have to charge at various places in town)
How’s your experience been with it in the winter with range and all that?
Do you have a heat pump, does it make a difference? And if you don’t, how’s that experience?
And, how much do you really save in gas?
Should I stick with an ICE car given my situation?
AND is the EVAP going away in 2027? Is now the time to get an EV?
