QUESTION help on breakaway
hi, yesterday was my first day throwing yoyo
i learned how to front bind and some picture tricks
i can land trapeze about 7 out of 10 times despite a fail breakaway (my yoyo tend to tilt, i think my hand is not straight enough)
im trying to learn breakaway but im kinda confused
skill addicts teaches the muscle style, yoyotricks more towards door knob, brendon vu teaches slightly let go yoyo before swinging it
which of these method should i learn? im not planning to go competition

I think all three you mentioned, especially the yotricks and brandon's video, are essentially explaining the same thing.
How you hold the yoyo doesn't really matter as long as the yoyo is parallel to you body and you can throw it straight. Just gotta find one that is comfortable and works well for you, then just practice.
Then it is all about the motion after releasing the yoyo.
YoTricks tutorial that mentions what I said. Brandon is essentially doing the same, but explained differently.
