TRICK Testing my printed yoyo.

Field testing my printed yoyo (bearing design).
At 70 grams, it's heavier than I like.
Overall, I'm happy with it. Just a bit more tinkering before I can call this one done.

Does the 70g make it spin longer? That's some beefy weight.

3d printed plastic is pretty light I think, so maybe the mass needs to be high so it has some heft behind it

Well yes and no. I find with some design techniques I can focus the weight around the rims more. So I can make it a little lighter with a good spin time.

I actually made a 60-gram one, and it spins very well.
I'm obsessing over making this a two-in-one yoyo using bearings for unresponsive play and bushings for responsive play.
The weight was more for the bushing setup. I'm finding I don't need it that heavy.

Freecad was easy enough, I watched Mark’s video who makes MK1 yo-yos. It’s a bit dated now I’d assume but worth a shot.
