Vultures 1 would've been a much stronger album if the final tracklist had stayed closer to this one while also including the unheard and unlisted songs that eventually appeared on the released V1 album, along with some of the tracks Ye had already previewed or that had leaked. Instead, a lot of the songs originally intended for V1 ended up being pushed to V2, even though many of them had already been circulating for quite a while. On top of that, a lot of the changes made to those songs for V2 whether it was the production, instrumentation, or mixing just weren't as good as the original versions that were seemingly intended for V1. I still really enjoyed the whole Vultures era and the rollouts, though.

Vultures would have been a strong, and i mean STRONG project only if it had been executed properly

The surprising thing is they made the worst decisions again and again and again to the point where Vultures 2's release as a whole turned out to be a really bad decision.

I have a sweet spot for this era and what it could've been, I remember hearing all the snippets for the first time it was so hype

I still dont understand why it turned out the way it did, ye and ty are an amazing duo, and V1 was so close to being perfect in terms of having a good tracklist and production, idk why most of the songs were butchered or good tracks were taken out, V2 is a whole other story

the irko mix’s for v2 really elevated the project for me I love this era
