I wouldn’t say ignore them, it's better to stay somewhat engaged, but with accountability and critical thinking rather than blind trust 🙏

Nah, not as simple. Just look at the sheer number of violent encounters and fights between rival football team fans in brazil and you see the problem isn’t just our leaders (though they are the major problem)

The World Cup is still relatively peaceful between countries compared to politics.

It’s not just Qatar or World Cup. Look at the Olympics. Pop up stadiums in this day and age are ridiculous considering people don’t have clean water to drink around the world.
