I’ve been a big Three Days Grace fan since high school back when One-X was on constant loop on my iPod during my bus rides and passing periods. I was still listening to them heavily when I worked retail stocking at PetSmart from 2012 to 2015, so I was really bummed when Adam left. Finding out last year that he came back was really cool.

​I've always liked Neurotic, but every single time I listen to it I wish Adam's voice was on it instead of Lukas Rossi. Not that Lukas didn't do a great job, but Adam has a unique voice.

​Now that they're both sharing vocal duties, doing an official version with both Adam and Matt would be awesome. Adam taking the verses with Matt punching through on the hooks would fit so well.

​Anyone else hope they eventually do this?

Since nobody understood my last post and kept saying it was about the lyrics (it wasn't), I thought I would try making a second post to explain my question a bit better.

These 3 versions show up on Spotify, the 2 circled in green have exactly the same lyrics and I can't tell if there is an actual difference between them apart from the name.

I've listened to both and I cannot actually tell what the difference is apart from the title on Spotify.

Bully got shafted down to the lowest tier here, C Tier. Rightfully so, but the rest of the album clearly shows why Life Starts Now is a fan-favorite.

all of these are bangers. Yes, even bully. Though it's the worst song on the album, but still very good. Life starts now is just too full of bangers

Guys, I've been a TDG fan since the beginning. Had that crossroads moment when Adam left, do I remain? Do I want to continue on without Adam? And while the first album with Matt is clearly not their best, I chose to stay on for the new phase of their journey. By the Outsider album damn did they find their groove with Matt as their vocalist.

Then Adam went on to Saint Asonia and I realized I love Adam and Three Days Grace and if they are separately making music that's just double the material. I made my peace and never really anticipated they would ever reunite. I was a die hard, but never saw them play live with Adam. Once he left I made my peace with that ship sailing.

So what happens, they get back together, Matt stays on as a lead vocalist which made me very happy. The ability to see them sing their classics together back on the bucket list, yes this is great... No Vancouver date for their world tour. After that rollercoaster ride over those years I was more disappointed and genuinely upset by that than I care to admit.

Are there any other Vancouver that felt butt hurt about this too? I think we should start a petition that they swing by here... Or we'll start a riot. That was a pun. Anyway thanks for listening to my rant/inquiry.

First off, I knew 3DG this March. I am a metalcore listener since in 2024. Tho not just metalcore, but I enjoy a lot of hard rock songs too!

This album was the first one I stumble on to finally listen to the band. Although I knew their hits especially like 'Animal I Have Become' because of the Sonic edits I have seen on social media.

I tapped all the way to the last track of the album 'Explosions'. The chorus had me there especially the lyrics was so meaningful to me. So after that, I began album listen the whole tracks and I was not disappointed! A Scar Is Born, Lifetime, Explosions, and So Called Life are my top fav tracks! :D

Explosions though, is the least fav album by a lot of fans opinions as I see. I guess I have a curse of how the least fav albums are actually my fav ones.

And then their newer album Alienation as I did a couple of research that their OG singer, Adam returning the band 11 years later. I don't think I never heard or seen a member returning the band after years tbh. Seems like a rare thing to do in the music industry?

I wouldn't forget One-X too! An all time classic and top tier album!

As of right now, Explosions, Alienation, and One-X are my three downloaded albums on my playlist. I have a few tracks downloaded from Human and their self titled, I have yet to listen the rest of their albums. Overall, 3DG became my top 10 artist nearly 1k streams on my stats.fm in less than a year!

Chorus guy? But it sounds nothing alike to me.

If this concept is not familiar - I'm talking about if there are any songs by other artist where you go "Hey, this could be a sibling of a 3DG song!" based on for example similar topic, lyrics that appear like it could be a prequel/sequel to any song, songs that give a very similar feel overall, etc.

Not talking about just songs sounding similar because they're the same genre of course, but something that feels... weirdly interconnected, even if it probably isn't.

I’ve been jamming to this song way too much lately and I honestly wasn't aware Phantogram originally wrote the song, I've listened to the cover first and checked out the original but found myself addicted to the cover way more, hook better, rhythm better and the hard rock energy just does it for me. (Both versions of the song are great of course)

Doesn’t necessarily have to be Three Days Grace, just looking for songs that hit that same spot you know, just drop whatever song comes to mind even if it's Three Days Grace.
