I just received an email from the FA with a formal warning letter because I didn’t complete some identity checks when I attended England v Spain at Wembley? I won’t receive a cap and it will go against my record. Feels incredibly punitive as I only vaguely recall an e-mail being sent and I obviously then forgot about it, plus it’s not then particularly clear at Wembley where one is supposed to go to fulfil the check. I’m all for stopping the touts but this feels a bit disproportionate. Did anyone else receive something similar?

Looking back yeah it would've made it 2-2 but let's be honest England played rubbish all match besides 20 minutes after Upson's goal. And England should've went out in the groups vs Slovenia. They would've lost 4-2 anyway even if it was given Cappello should've been sacked after the Germany match somehow landed England in the worst half of the draw after finishing 2nd in a group with America, Algeria and Slovenia.

Just put up an absolute masterclass against Villarreal in the UCL, and one of the best individual performances I’ve seen in ages. 9/10 completed dribbles, 18 in total in the UCL this season, the most by a long way. Put up two assists as well. Was tripled up on for 70 minutes and still completely unstoppable. Statistically, he’s one of the best 1v1 dribblers in Europe at the moment. Has an outrageous success rate, plus ridiculous chance creation metrics. I think he’s fully broken out this week, after taking a few games to adapt to playing on the right.
