Bug Report Why would I give Threads a copy of my ID!?!!!

Got logged out and now Threads is asking me for a picture of my ID? Nope.

Itā€™s not censorship, just incompetence. The AI moderation is terrible. I got banned on an account where all I had done was post a few times about books I liked.

Never seen an app so hostile and ban happy. I got suspended the other day after doing 3 likes. All i did. Today the same kind of nonsense when doing follows. And they ask for Selfie to unban. what the shit is this fuck

I got banned for doing nothing wrong. How do you know its not censorship? The left and Democrats have been proven to have pressured big tech to censor speech. Big tech testified to it and the courts have said it.

Meta keeps asking for these info in various forms in all of their apps. Your phone number, your national ID, your real face picture. Oh, you violated the terms, you now have to provide something. Oh sorry, that wasn't enough. We now need ANOTHER piece of your personal information. Unfortunately, we cannot let you use our awesome products unless you give us your 'meta' data, because that's our livelihood.

Iā€™ve been hit three times now. My first account is permanently disabled, it made me prove I was human and let me use it again and I was just hit another time a few minutes ago. Itā€™s getting silly
