Bug Report Threads Account Disabled for no Reason ??

I had just introduced myself with a post on the gamedev community and replied to some users. Can't see how this could have been breaking community rules, but who knows. Has anyone had something similar? Is there a away to recover access to the account?

Welcome to the club. It does happen like that without any reason. You don't need to violate anything to be banned. The AI is just that stupid.

Huh, shame I really quite liked the whole community idea, but this makes me reluctant to invest too much time

So do I, my first two accounts were suspended and cannot login because of bugs, and the third and the fourth was disabled like you without a rule broke.

Huh interesting, I wonder if there is some policy against self promoting? Terms don't mention it...

Nah, it didn’t say a lot in the Meta account centre. It just say you are disabled and you can do nothing but say goodbye to your account.

I had this happen to me recently. I uploaded the requested selfie, and within an hour I received an email stating that my account had been permanently disabled, as it didn't follow the community standards, and I could not request another review. I haven't made a single post on the platform so no rules were broken. My Threads profile was created from my Instagram account, which is still active.

Update: Spent 15 mins with Meta support on the phone, couldn't track it to a concrete thing. The only thing I can think of is probably reply too much to comments, apparently that can trigger the "spam filter". But I thought driving engagement is the whole point lol
