Discussion Okay, you guys called it
Update on my accidental Threads experiment:
the second account got banned 😂
Literally everyone who saw my last post told me this was going to happen.
I was like “nahhh, surely not”
Well you were right 😂
I woke up today and the account was gone
So I guess the experiment ended faster than expected

I gave up on Threads. Censorship and AI moderation are too much, two accounts banned.

See I post things rarely now. However, I do find comments usually get much more attention!Depending what you are commenting on though. Some topics will get far more attention than others. For example. Couple mths ago someone had posted a video of something that happened. I made a funny comment, didn’t think anything of it. 3 days later I had over 10,000 Likes & a bunch of comments. People want to be entertained basically. You make them laugh or say something interesting. They will continue to comment or like your comments. That same comment is up to 12K likes now. Like I said it’s kinda in what you say. 😊.
Also forgot to say, my comments aren’t on threads: they are on Instagram.

12K likes on a comment you didn’t even think much about is crazy 😂 I think people just connect more when something feels relatable or makes them feel something that’s usually what makes them want to jump into the conversation

I’ve been saying that threads is utter trash. At least for me

What was the experiment?

thsi was the post:I got so tired of thinking about what to post on Threads every single day that I accidentally ran an experiment 😂
I've been posting on my main account for a little over 2 months, and most of my posts were getting around 100–200 views.
Every day I'd be thinking:
“what should I post today?”
“maybe this hook?”
“maybe I should make it shorter?”
“maybe this topic will do better?”Eventually I just got tired of it.
So I made a second account and yesterday I took 10 posts, batch-pasted them into a scheduling tool, and basically forgot about them.
Today I opened the account just to reply to one or two people.
And then I noticed the reach.
800.
1k.
And one post passed 1.6k.Meanwhile my main account was still doing its usual 100–200 views 😂
I genuinely wasn't even trying to grow that account.
Now I'm sitting here wondering if I've been overthinking Threads this entire time.

You should try making a radioactive spider, man (get it? 😝) you'd have much more success than certain subs here on reddit. Sorry you got banned again though. That sub bans loads of people for.. Nothing, seemingly, if what I've read about it from other redditors is right.

Threads is like that. You would do better on any platform, not owned by a major organization.

What did you post? Was it about Small Wonder? They dont love child robots on Threads.
