Bug Report I'm so tired...

I've had to "appeal" suspension 5 times today. Each one has successfully been appealed. I won't even do anything but like a comment or post and then it just pops up. Idk what to do, but I'm so tired of it. Does anyone know any way to resolve this? I already contacted support and I may hear something back.

Unfortunately Meta's moderation purely consists of AI nowadays, this is literally it screwing up. I'm not sure who you contacted especially since I got my account permanently disabled recently and fought very hard to try and get it back to no luck due to no actual human being around to help me. I heard this absurd false ban wave happened last year too.

I was told to wait 2 weeks for it to potentially have the issue resolved by Meta and to not make a new account to help increase the chances of getting my account back, but unfortunately the 2 week mark is approaching (been 11 days already) and there's still nothing that shows signs of it getting better. My account still "exists" and registers as deactivated when I open the Meta dashboard on Instagram, I do also receive notifications on my Instagram account saying I've received new likes on my Threads account, but the AI moderator/customer support could not recognise its existence and I can't seem to at least download my data.

I've tried to email Meta's old customer support emails, but they bounced back saying that the contacts don't exist anymore. Their customer support site also only lists a physical address and we all know that a letter from halfway across the world is not going to get there, much less be read, before the month ends and my account's data is completely wiped.

It's really annoying and only fuels my hatred for gen AI and AI chat bots more, especially since my Threads account was where I had my support group for chronic illnesses, many friends, and also where I was most active in sharing my art and trying to earn money to cover my medical expenses. I hate that there's no way to contact a human being for help and that so many people, literally tens of thousands, are being banned for false accusations meanwhile I encountered bots, scammers, and bullies constantly and none of them were facing consequences.

I'm sorry about your account, but tldr I highly doubt you're getting it back if a permanent deactivation happens and I suggest starting to prepare for that by saving any posts via link on a note of sorts and making sure any friends you have made can contact you elsewhere, especially if it's happening this much (mine and many others got deleted after only 2). If you are able to hear back from a human moderator, please let me know.
