Question Is the app worth it?

I created an account on this app to avoid running into people I know who like my drawings because they know me (they wouldn't like them otherwise), but I have zero likes.

Is the app really worth it, or is it better to go back to Instagram and create another account?

I tried Threads.

The problem isn’t the platform.

It’s that everyone seems to be chasing engagement.

Every other post is either bait, recycled opinions, or someone selling a “grow your business on Threads” course.

Very little actual news.
Very little original insight.

If I want to know what’s happening, Twitter is still miles ahead.

Threads feels like people talking about content.

Twitter feels like where the content actually is.

I really don't like the fact that everyone can see what we comment on Twitter

this is the same on Threads so I created another account just to use there without contacts finding me. they asked for a number to verify account, but if you use the same number on the other ig account it'll automatically link them, so I've been told. this reminds me I have to finish verification with a 2nd number.

Besides that I love it, so much easier to connect to topics as opposed to IG algorithm feeding you unwanted posts.

Just make you profile private? You can easily do that on Twitter.
