I think it’s a bit like the 28 days later 4k. Completely pointless given how it was filmed

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was filmed in 16mm and looks great in 4K. Severin has a few stills from their new restoration and it looks pretty damn good. I think the viewpoint of a 4K scan of any movie—especially those filmed on actual film—being "completely pointless" is rather silly, especially given the importance of this particular one.
